Great Vacuum

Prolux 10 Quart Backpack vacuum is a great vacuum. Not to heavy, Aluminum housing. Strong. Comfortable. Suction is great. Hose is a little long, but, at times a longer hose is needed for vacuuming cobwebs from vaulted ceilings or under eves. Really great, very pleased. Out sucks the Hoover backpack vacuum big time.

First backpack vacuum

Just received this beauty today and vacuumed two large rugs and 900 sq of carpeting plus a carpeted staircase. This thing is impressive and reading the sparse instructions, you can tell this company has a sense of humor (jokes abound in their very short user guide). 11 lbs probably isn't going to be a problem for most, and they make this as comfortable as you can with adjustable straps and back padding, but if you have back issues, you will feel this after a few minutes. It's no more unbearable than using regular push vacuum, but this Prolux is much more efficient. This backpack vacuum is bulky, and if you are in tight spaces or turn too soon near a shelf or other tall furniture, you'll probably bump into some things. I guess I'll get used to it. The hose does swivel from where it exits the canister, but it also extends about a foot in the air, so you just have to be mindful of that. Rugs were a breeze. Stairs were easy. Depending on your carpet, you may feel the need to go over twice, because in my case, it's not like you can roll back and forth on carpeting like you can with a vacuum with wheels. But the carpet looks clean and feels more plush than with an ordinary vacuum. I love this thing.

The Best Vacuums Ever!

I purchased four of these for my cleaning business. It's the best vacuum ever! Easy to use, attachments are easy to change and the Suction Is Phenomenal! I purchased an oversized laundry bag to make transporting it easy to my cleaning jobs. Would have been nice to have this come with the vacuums...keeping up with the attachments was a chore before I bought this. Overall great vacuum!
